🔷Welcome to Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire and one of Peru’s most breathtaking destinations. Upon arrival, a private transfer from the airport will take you directly to your hotel in Cusco, where you can enjoy the comfort and warm Andean hospitality. You’ll be welcomed with a coca tea, a traditional Peruvian drink recommended to help you acclimate effectively to the altitude.

🔷We will assist you with the check-in process and provide detailed information about your tour program in Cusco, along with personalized recommendations to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We recommend using this day to rest and gradually adapt to the altitude, allowing your body to adjust to the environment without rushing.

To end your first day on a special note, we recommend attending a performance of traditional dances and music at the Qosqo Center of Native Art. This show will immerse you in Peruvian culture through music, dance, and traditional Andean costumes (from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.). The entrance is included in your package, but we recommend arriving at least 45 minutes early, as seating is limited and the venue tends to fill up quickly.

With a prior reservation, our team will pick you up from your hotel to begin a charming walking tour through the historic center of Cusco, exploring its cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, and Inca heritage.

🔷Cusco City Tour – Approx. 4 hours
In the afternoon, we’ll pick you up from the designated meeting point and begin our tour with a visit to
🔹 Qorikancha, the Temple of the Sun — one of the most important temples of the Inca Empire. This sacred site fuses Inca architecture with a colonial church, symbolizing the blend of Andean and Spanish cultures.
🔹Cusco Cathedral, an architectural gem built over ancient Inca palaces, is famous for its artistic legacy from the Cusqueña School. Here you’ll admire stunning paintings and sculptures reflecting the influence of European art in colonial Peru.The tour continues by bus to the nearby archaeological sites:
🔹Sacsayhuamán, known for its colossal stone walls that showcase remarkable Inca engineering.
🔹Qenqo, a mysterious ceremonial site shaped like a labyrinth.
🔹Puka Pukara, a fortress that once served as a military checkpoint.
🔹Tambomachay, known as the "Inca’s Bath," an ancient ceremonial center dedicated to water. Return to Cusco.

In the morning, one of the most impressive days of your trip begins — the journey to Machu Picchu through the legendary Sacred Valley of the Incas, a region rich in history, culture, and unforgettable Andean landscapes.
🔹Our first stop will be at the Taray Viewpoint, where you’ll enjoy a panoramic view of the Sacred Valley — with its agricultural fields, the Vilcanota River, and sacred mountains forming a breathtaking natural setting.
🔹Pisac Archaeological Complex: You’ll visit Inca agricultural terraces and its amazing pre-Hispanic cemetery, considered the largest in the Americas. A place full of history and spirituality with unique views of the valley.
🔹Pisac Artisan Market: Then you’ll walk through this famous market, known for its textiles, ceramics, and traditional crafts. Here you’ll have the chance to appreciate and purchase handmade art created by local communities.We’ll continue through the valley to Urubamba, where you'll enjoy:

🔹Ollantaytambo – Living Inca Town and Fortress: We’ll explore its majestic archaeological complex, an impressive Inca fortress built with enormous stone blocks. 🔷Machupicchu Tour – Get ready for the most anticipated day of your journey: the visit to Machupicchu, one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World, considered the greatest architectural and spiritual legacy of the Inca Empire.

🔷Bus transfer from Aguas Calientes to the Machupicchu citadel:
According to your scheduled entrance time to Machu Picchu, you will board the tourist bus that will take you on a 25-minute ride to the entrance of the Historic Sanctuary of Machupicchu, located over 2,400 meters above sea level. This journey offers stunning views of the lush cloud forest.
🔷Guided tour of Machupicchu (approx. 2h30)
Upon arrival, a professional, specialized guide will meet you to lead a guided tour along the designated circuit. During the visit, you'll learn about the site's history, spiritual significance, mortar-free construction, and its mysterious abandonment. This experience blends archaeology, nature, and awe.

🔷Return to Machupicchu Town (Aguas Calientes)
After the visit, you’ll take the bus back down. You’ll have free time to enjoy lunch (OPTIONAL) at one of the local restaurants before boarding your return train.

🔷Train ride back to Cusco
At the scheduled time, you’ll board the tourist train back to Ollantaytambo or Cusco, followed by a transfer to your hotel in Cusco.

🔹 Huaynapicchu Mountain Hike – 2,720 m altitude

🔷Early Pick-Up from Hotel in Cusco: Between 4:30 and 5:00 am to begin the journey to Humantay Lake.

🔷Tourist Transport to Mollepata (2803 m): A scenic 2-hour drive with a stop for a traditional breakfast to fuel up for the day.

🔷Drive to Soraypampa: Continue for approximately 1 more hour to reach the starting point of the hike.

🔷Trekking to Humantay Lake: Around 2 hours of hiking along mountain trails to reach this breathtaking turquoise lake, surrounded by snow-capped peaks.

🔷Free Time at Humantay Lake: Take your time to admire the crystal-clear waters of the lake and soak in the stunning Andean landscape. After this peaceful nature experience, you’ll hike back to Soraypampa, where our tourist transport will be waiting to take you back to Mollepata.
🔷Enjoy lunch in Mollepata before returning to Cusco, arriving around 6:00 p.m.
